"MISSION STATEMENT"

The Christian Sports Network will:

• operate in a non-competitive atmosphere where the self-esteem of the
  child is paramount.
• honor carpool requests from moms.
• provide devotional and worship materials with extra help for the coaches in the form of chaplains and sheets to go home with the player.
• endeavor to play on weekday evenings, leaving Saturdays as family
  time.
• distribute responsibilities throughout all the churches involved to give them ownership and to ensure that everything is done to make this network the best it can be.

• have any greater affiliation with one church than any other involved in the net work.
• provide for or recognize teams from a church who wishes to use the
  church name (this causes territorialism, the great mistake in basketball).
• publish results of any games in the newspaper since this causes someone to keep score.
• allow for the focus of serving and revealing Jesus Christ through this fun game to be lost or minimized.
